PHOENIX FASHION WEEK PRESENTS FASHIONABLY PINK CELEBRITY RUNWAY SHOW BENEFITING LOCAL BREAST CANCER CHARITY ‘DON’T BE A CHUMP CHECK FOR A LUMP’

Each year, Phoenix Fashion Week’s signature Fashionably Pink Celebrity Fashion Show kicks off fashion week benefiting local breast cancer non-profit Don’t Be a Chump! Check for a Lump! Breast cancer survivors and celebrities take the runway for a night of fashionable giving at Talking Stick Resort.

“Our entire team here at Don’t Be a Chump! Check for a Lump! is thankful for this partnership with Phoenix Fashion Week and their support of breast cancer awareness by producing Fashionably Pink especially with the unfortunate closing of the Susan G. Komen office here in Phoenix,” says Holly Rose, Survivor and Founder, Don’t Be a Chump! Check for a Lump!

The evening begins with a glamorous (no-host) Cocktail and Pop-Up Shop reception at 6:00pm inside the Style Villa, featuring a dramatic red carpet entrance for photo opportunities, mingling with local tastemakers, live DJ, and refreshing spirits.

The night also include a charitable silent auction and other giving opportunities, with proceeds benefiting Don’t Be a Chump, Check for a Lump! and their Wig Out Program, providing high quality wigs for post chemotherapy and complimentary mammograms for low-income women in Arizona.

“We are excited to again activate one of our strongest platforms, community. We are equally excited to partner with Holly Rose to support local breast cancer survivors and raise awareness and funds right here in Arizona,” says Brian Hill, Executive Director for Phoenix Fashion Week.

Set to the picture-perfect backdrop of Arizona’s desert night sky, the high energy fashion show will begin at 8:15pm, with “pink inspired” fashions from The Glam Squad.

Curated designers will also be featured on the runway and worn by breast cancer survivors and recognizable local celebrities including Channel 12’s Caribe Devine, with styling provided by Phoenix Fashion Week PCA Skin and Kensington Makeup Academy.
