Brian Hill

Executive Director

Mr. Hill is the vision behind PHXFW that brings a hard work ethic from his Midwest roots. A self taught designer (Femme Athletic) that focuses on the business side of fashion.

“I pledge to continue pushing Arizona fashion forward from the ground up, while being inspired by young designers that want to succeed in this tough industry.”

 

Percy Knox

Advisory Board

Mr. Knox has been advising PHXFW since 2006 and is the President for Elevee Custom Clothing and Lifestyle. Elevee designs custom suits and casual wear for professional athletes, entertainers and high net worth individuals. Mr. Knox is focused on the long term strategy of PHXFW.

“We will continue to build PHXFW into an effective platform for designers to build their brand and for buyers to get introduced to hot new designers.”

 

Hermann Plank

Advisory Board

Mr. Plank is an entrepreneur and advisor to Phoenix Fashion Week. Through his extensive background in international management he contributes to the team in the areas of marketing, public relations, sponsorship, and general management.

“My passion lies in enjoying beautiful designs and assisting young and inspiring designers to successfully launch their careers.”

 

Russell Goldstein

Advisory Board

Mr Goldstein’s existing service on various boards in the not-for-profit community helps to provide guidance and direction in our Community pillar.

“I am passionate about collaborating and connecting the community to drive awareness and support for PHXFW charity events like Fashionably Pink.”

 

Kym Gold

Advisory Board

Ms. Gold is the co-founder of True Religion Jeans and has been working in the industry for almost 30 years. She is also the author of the book: Gold Standard: How to Rock the World and Run an Empire. ​Her designs have been worn by top celebrities and featured in top fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, In Style, & Rolling Stone.

“I am proud to be a small part of this large team at PHXFW and lending my expertise and experience during the bootcamps will hopefully help to propel these new designers to reach their own dreams one day soon.”

 

Chris Detert

Advisory Board

Mr. Detert is CEO/Owner of American Rebel PR – LA’s premier lifestyle and fashion PR, marketing, branding and events agency, which as been building and servicing top brands since 2005.

“I am proud to be a member of Phoenix Fashion Week’s Advisory Board. Phoenix is quickly becoming a major style epicenter and I am excited about helping to further build the bridge between Phoenix and the international fashion community.”

 

Brenna Moses

Operations Director

Ms. Moses has been with PHXFW since 2008 and in that time has learned from the bottom up the many areas that it takes to operate an event of this size. She now leads a team that focuses on the most important part of fashion week – the detailed behind the scenes magic.

“My previous work experience at MTV and Whirl Magazine, an events based society magazine in Pittsburgh, prepared me for the structure that we have created here.”

 

Dynelle Rodriguez

Style Director

Mrs. Rodriguez has been a part of Phoenix Fashion Week since 2008 and has been putting her experiences in salon management and the beauty industry to work.

“Fashion is so inspiring, and I love watching the hard work of models, designers, makeup artists and hair stylists featured on the runway of Phoenix Fashion Week each October. It’s incredibly fulfilling and rewarding!”

 

Alison Callaway

Education Director

Alison has over 20 years of fashion expertise working for retailers such as Sears, Hartmarx, REI, Coldwater Creek and Zappos.com. She has held many roles within the fashion industry from design, product development, product line management, buying, styling, trend forecasting and website development. She has been with the Phoenix Fashion Week team since 2011.

“I am passionate about helping emerging designers, entrepreneurs and small businesses maximize their potential and set themselves up for success.”

 

Christina Ziegler

Director of VIP Relations

Ms. Ziegler brings the sophisticated organization every fashion team needs; a natural hostess. Born and raised in the “Windy City,” she brings an urban, yet feminine-inspired approach since her start on the PHXFW team in 2010. With a degree in Public Administration, she joined PHXFW with a background in non-profit event management.

“The experience we create at PHXFW for guests, my passion for event planning and fashion coupled with working with amazingly talented people is what I live for!”

 

Niya DeGroat

Director of Branding & Media

Niya has been designing the creative content and social media strategy for PHXFW since 2015. He also assists with front-of-house and behind-the-scenes operations. In May 2020, he obtained his master’s degree in fashion journalism from the Academy of Art University.

“Through various types of media, I aim to reflect the Phoenix Fashion Week brand with compelling storytelling and captivating visuals.”
